Terms and Conditions
1. Seller information
The website nunatakdogs is operated by Fabio Vasile (Italian Tax Code: VSLFBA97M12L219X), based in Turin, Piedmont — Italy. The activity is carried out on an occasional basis, pursuant to art. 67, paragraph 1, letter l) of the Italian Income Tax Code (TUIR), without a VAT number. Contact email: info@nunatakdogs.it.
2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the nunatakdogs website and any purchase, upon request, of handcrafted technical dog gear (BioThane leashes, collars and accessories with stainless steel hardware). Products are made in small batches or to order, in limited quantities consistent with the occasional nature of the activity.
3. Occasional activity
Since this is an occasional self-employment activity, invoices with a VAT number are not issued. Upon request, a non-fiscal receipt is issued against payment, with application of the 20% withholding tax in the cases provided for by current regulations, where the buyer is a tax substitute.
4. Orders and conclusion of the contract
Orders are collected through direct contact (email or Instagram message). The contract is concluded upon written confirmation by the seller and payment of the agreed amount. The seller reserves the right not to accept orders deemed incomplete, suspicious, or not feasible within the requested timeframe.
5. Prices and payments
Prices are expressed in Euro (€) and communicated in writing at the time of the quote. Shipping costs, if any, are indicated separately. Payment is made via bank transfer or other agreed methods. The product is put into production only after payment has been received.
6. Production and shipping times
As these are handcrafted products, production times may vary and are communicated at the time of the order. Shipments are made via courier or tracked postal service. Any delays attributable to carriers are not the responsibility of the seller.
7. Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receipt of the product, except for goods made to measure or personalised, for which the right of withdrawal is excluded under art. 59, paragraph 1, letter c). Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
8. Warranty
Products are warranted against lack of conformity pursuant to articles 128 and following of the Consumer Code. The warranty does not cover wear and tear resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, accidental damage, or use not in accordance with the instructions. Metal components are certified with a declared breaking load of 4 kN.
9. Use of the product
NUNATAK leashes and collars are technical tools intended for use with dogs in outdoor contexts. It is the user's responsibility to assess the suitability of the product for their animal and the activity carried out. The seller is not liable for damage to persons, animals or property resulting from improper or negligent use of the product.
10. Intellectual property
All site contents (text, images, logo, design) are the property of Fabio Vasile / NUNATAK and protected by applicable copyright laws. Reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without written authorisation.
11. Privacy and personal data
Personal data collected via email or contact forms are processed exclusively for the purpose of managing the order and communicating with the customer, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Data are not transferred to third parties.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Turin shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except for any mandatory provisions of law protecting the consumer.
13. Changes
The seller reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the site.
